In a day, this night will become irrelevant. A couple of months from now, this night will not matter. In a mere five years, I will have no recollection of this night except, maybe, for this reflective post. I will not care that in the past few months I have been a lot more busy than senior, a lot more adult than child, and a lot more suits than sweats. I will look back and thank myself. I will know that the evenings I spent interning instead of at happy hours with friends, the nights I isolated myself to study, the days I spent doing a hundred things have paid off. I may feel overwhelmed and scattered and possibly even a little drained because of all this craziness now, but in just a few months I will look back and be happy. I will be happy because I will be successful. I will be happy and successful. I will still be spending every minute of my day working, but it will be worth it because I will be my own person on my own two feet created by own dedication and my own desire and ambition. I will still be growing and conquering and realizing all my dreams. I will give myself the chance to be everything I can be and so incredibly much more…I just need to do this now. It will all be great, if I do this now. So future me, you’re welcome :)
